Other than the blackout in WWII, there is a Christmas tree that lights up Rockefeller Center in New York since 1933. This year’s tree stands up to 94 feet (28.6 meters) and will be adorned with thousands of lights. In the past, this tree was decorated with animal-shaped ornaments, cranberry garlands and more recently with cost cutting light Emitting diodes (LEDs). We need to see how this giant tree compares with its smaller sibling in the households.
